They Might Be Giants (TMBG for short) is a band for adults that started to write top class music for children some years ago with an educational theme. Their debut CD for children, Here Comes the 123s, has won a Grammy award. That album is suitable for pre-schoolers. Their latest album Here Comes Science is more suited to older children but their youtube video for Electric Car from that album is perfect for pre-schoolers:
